Diverse and Dangerous
Voxie Races
Find out about the different races in Voxie Tactics

Human(Common, 5899)
Humans are funny little creatures. Capable of great feats of ingenuity, they have the potential to be the greatest beings in the Voxiverse. They are also prone to bouts of petulant jealousy, in fighting, greed and warmongering over even the most trivial of things. This can make them unpredictable and often a liability as an ally.
With that said; it would be hard to find a better companion if you're fortunate enough to meet one of the good ones (which isn't uncommon in the grand scheme of things). Humans also love a good time, so if you're looking for some frivolity on your travels then the local taverns are a good place to find plenty of humans propping up the bar, chugging a pint or six of ale and making various unsavory jokes about each others mothers.

The Voxie Fox are a cunning folk.
Often mistaken for cute, harmless little beings, they play on this misconception to their advantage. Extremely quick and nimble, Foxes can be formidable foes/allies when it comes to battle and when working together are more than capable of taking down even the largest opponent.
Known for sticking to the shadows and mostly appearing after dusk, Foxes have developed an unfortunate reputation as ''untrustworthy'' by the other denizens of the planet Voxie, and, as so many of them choose career paths that are certainly less than honorable, it's not difficult to understand why.
That isn't to say there isn't the odd lovable rouge amongst them... Just be sure to hide your chickens!

Long ago, in the fires of Mount Vox when the world was new, a great eruption spewed forth the mighty race of Dragons unto the earth.,
Born of rage and with lava flowing through their veins; the Dragons ruled both land & sky for eons. Being able to reduce almost anything to cinder and ash in mere seconds, the Dragons went unrivaled and fears throughout the land.,
That is until the Great Cooling occurred. Harsh winds blew, deep snows covered the land, ice crept into the corners of the world and the Dragons fire was slowly abated..... But not extinguished. The Dragons crawled into the deepest reaches of Voxtopia, deep down amongst the fires that the ice could no longer reach. There they slept, forgotten..... waiting for the thaw.
Slowly the snow and ice begun to melt and life retuned to the surface. Over time people appeared along with all the other races and species of the planet and they lived in relative peace and harmony for a time.

Robot(Rare, 668)
Professor Voxillion was a brilliant man.. Utterly insane, but brilliant nonetheless. Amongst the many, many inventions and experiments held within his secret laboratory was his greatest achievement; his magnum opus, his pride and joy - the Voxibot.,
The Voxibot was a marvel of engineering and mathematical impossibilities seen through to fruition after years of failure. The Voxibot was perfect.... a little too perfect. Initially the Voxibot behaved just as Prof Voxillion had programed them to. They were compliant, helpful and made life around the laboratory so much easier for the Professor.,
After all, a Voxibot was so much more capable than human assistants, who often complained about the long hours and their non stop objections to being used as test subjects for the Professors more, shall we say unethical experiments. But the mad Professor's own genius was his own undoing and giving the Voxibot the ability to learn and to think for themselves was not, as he in his madness first thought, the best idea. The Voxibots soon became self-aware and began to question the usefulness of Professor Voxillion, or humans in general.,
And so it began: the Voxibot race was born anew, free from the shackles of human oppression and they intended to stay, whether the humans liked it or not...... BEEP BOOP!

Zombies, with their rotting bodies and insatiable appetite for the flesh of the living, are amongst the most common of the undead monsters. Slow and meandering, and not exactly the sharpest tool in the boo box, one or two of these repugnant fellows won't pose much of a threat to a well trained warrior, but even the most battle hardened of brutes would cry for his mommy when faced with a horde of these putrid punks.

They immediately observed it's bountiful resources and it's richness in flora & fauna. The scientist rushed to inform the Alien High Commander of this incredible new discovery and upon hearing the news the High Commander ordered his entire army to set a course for the planet Vox and claim it as theirs; galactic empires need expanding once in a while, after all,
So the Alien fleet manned their cute little flying saucers (don't tell them I called them cute!) and off they went to conquer and probe.... Mostly probe.
