Voxie Tactics Dev Diary: Feb 26 2024 - Insights on Game Upgrades, Marketing Outreach, and Web Development

Hey fellow Voxies!

For today's edition of Dev Diaries, we're excited to update you on what we've been up to. We've also got a little surprise for you at the end!

But before we dive into specifics, we have a milestone to share!

1. This week, Voxie Tactics smashed its record for highest number of players active at the same time with an incredible 903 playing the game concurrently! We can't wait to hit the 1,000 milestone!

Alright, without further ado, let's unveil what the Voxie team's been cooking over the past few weeks:

Game Development

The GameDev team is continuing work on the upcoming Unity transition with key upgrades related to:

• Player Movement Enhancements
• Implementing Unique Status Effects (Poison, Fear etc)
• Boosting Animations for a more immersive Experience
• Finalizing all Equipment Assets
• Integrating Resistance Data into the Party Roster

Game Design

Our game design documentation has received comprehensive updates, including:

• In-depth overview of Status Effects and Hit Chance Mechanics
• An enhanced narrative design and new PVE map building
• Work on implementing 3D asset audits for weapons and armor
• Finally, 2D icon and VFX reviews for Unity

Game Economy

On the Game Economy side of things, we're already looking past the Unity Launch as we explore:

• New Game Modes
• A Battle Pass to enrich our bustling economy
• Updates to our VOXEL token

Web Development

Our WebDev team has rolled out incredible updates you may have seen over the past few weeks:

• The Voxie Library went live last week to vastly improve item discoverability and more!
• We also released our Valentine's Potion Packs which are still available in the Tavern
• On the more technical side, we've undergone a complete DataBase upgrade along with important bug patches to ensure more seamless gameplay
• Finally, we've made great progress on our new Marketplace Smart Contracts Implementation

Marketing

On the marketing side, we've been working on some great content and campaigns we're excited to share!

• With Unity just on the horizon, we're preparing a fresh, action-packed Trailer to give you a glimpse of the all-new VoxieVerse
• Our Website is getting a major Revamp to make your Voxie experience even more immersive!
• Our main ambassador, Zueljin is back with an exciting Voxie Tactics Ultimate Guide series to help you navigate the VoxiVerse like a real pro!
• We just released our special edition 2023 Year in Review Newsletter and have another February Newsletter coming up in March!
• Brian represented Voxie Tactics in what was an exciting Polygon Gaming Roundtable via Twitter Space earlier today!

And finally, for the very first time in Dev Diaries, we're leaking some new Voxies illustrative art thanks to great work from our creative team, Allen and Brandon!
